Yeah so i was quite bored the other day… was out with Sotong… erm… wanted to watch movie mah.. so i was browsing the possible show to watch online… then… this show caught my eyes… for the record… i find totally no joy whatsoever watching horror movies… but this was different…

the actors… are all familiar faces… particularly if you watched Harry Potter.
So the plot…
Based on the hit Broadway musical which tells the infamous story of Benjamin Barker, a.k.a Sweeney Todd, who sets up a barber shop down in London which is the basis for a sinister partnership with his fellow tenant, Mrs. Lovett.

Story is about Todd who was screwed somehow by this judge because he was jealous of the wife and he come back years later to find the daughter about to married to the judge and seek revenge..

No lah.. i dont really know how to explain it.. the way this is filmed is very unique… with the actors singing the lines.. wait.. did i mention this is a musical/opera like show? ok anyway… this show totally reminds me of Phantom of the Opera.. though the story i would say is quite different…
the murder scene is amagod cool… blood gushing out… from throat… i wonder how they do that… but yeah… so Todd got this modified chair that throws his trash automatically down to the sewers… and Mrs Lovett being budget find that the meat of the murdered is wasted and so she decided to use it for her meat pie… woOoT…
obviously people donnno… and judging from their faces from the eating scene they loved it very much… bleh…
this shows really requires full attention… to listen to every word the actor is singing… to understand each and every detail the actors are trying to portrait…
Erm at some part maybe you will feel bored and ask it will just fast foward i think…
not a show for children definately… rated M18 - Violence by MDA…
